Cambodia audience research with local language support

Based in Phnom Penh, our linguistic work draws on more than 15 years of professional Khmer language experience. We help you prepare focused conversations, understand local responses and make feedback useful to your team.

Message and concept testing

Explore how people interpret a campaign, service concept, website or information material. Identify confusing wording, unexpected associations and questions to address before launch.

Participant and interview coordination

Define the people you need to hear from, assess recruitment feasibility, and coordinate screening, scheduling and agreed sessions. Participant availability is confirmed before work starts.

Khmer–English interview support

Adapt discussion guides, support bilingual interviews and prepare agreed notes, transcripts or translated excerpts so your team can understand responses in context.

How audience validation works

01. Define the decision

Tell us what you need to learn, who the audience is and how the findings will be used.

02. Prepare the approach

Confirm questions, participant criteria, feasibility, schedule, consent process and deliverables.

03. Support the conversations

Coordinate agreed sessions and provide Khmer–English language support.

04. Make feedback usable

Receive agreed notes or translated material, a findings summary and a discussion of next steps.

Plan your Cambodia audience project

Send your research objective, target audience, preferred locations or online format, expected number of sessions and deadline. We will review feasibility and propose a practical scope.

Cambodia Audience Research & Interview Support

Make informed decisions before you launch, publish or conduct research in Cambodia. Native Linguist supports international teams with audience validation, participant coordination and Khmer–English interview support.

What your team can receive

Choose the support you need rather than a fixed research package. Agree the audience, scope, reporting format and schedule before work begins.

    • A reviewed Khmer discussion guide and screening questions.
    • An agreed recruitment and scheduling plan.
    • Bilingual interview support with structured notes, transcripts or English translations as scoped.
    • A concise findings summary with themes, illustrative comments and limitations.

Participant numbers, selection criteria, locations, incentives and recording permissions are agreed in advance. Small qualitative studies explore perspectives; they do not establish statistically representative views of all Cambodian people.

Frequently asked questions

Can you help with remote interviews?

Remote and in-person support can be scoped around the audience, location, connectivity and project needs. Share your preferred format and timeframe so we can confirm feasibility.

Can you recruit a specific audience?

We first assess screening criteria, target numbers, locations and timing. Recruitment depends on feasibility and participant willingness; access to a particular group is not guaranteed.

Can our own researcher lead the interviews?

Yes. We can support a client-led study through guide translation, scheduling, interpreting and agreed documentation, or discuss a broader facilitation role.

How is a project priced?

A quotation depends on preparation, recruitment effort, number and length of sessions, travel, incentives and reporting. Participant and third-party costs are identified separately.
